Photo Filter Remover Online

Reduce unwanted color casts from filtered photos with a free browser-based photo filter remover. Upload, adjust, compare, and download locally.

Quick answer

Unfilter is a browser-based photo filter remover that reduces unwanted color casts. Currently, it works best on green and matcha color filters. Upload your photo, adjust the settings, and download the result.

What Unfilter can do

Unfilter currently focuses on reducing green and matcha color casts from photos. This includes green filters applied by photo editing apps, green tints from lighting conditions, and matcha-style color grading.

The tool is not designed to remove all types of filters. Red, blue, purple, or other non-green color casts are not supported at this time. If your photo has a complex multi-effect filter, Unfilter will reduce the green component but cannot undo all the other changes.

For green-specific filter removal, try the dedicated Matcha Filter Remover for the best results.
